MTL-501 is a saRNA liver cancer therapeutic that activates the CEBPA gene. Intravenous injection of MTL-501 in a liver cancer rat model reduced tumour burden by 80% whilst increasing significantly serum albumin. In vitro work has indicated the dramatic potential of CEBPA saRNA as a universal anti-cancer therapeutic in non-small cell lung, prostate, pancreas, leukaemia, lymphoma and glioblastoma.
